"Thousand Miles" new solo album by Julio Awad, pianist & composer, in which he has brought together a group of star studded musicians to present his Jazz/New Age compositions.
The acoustic piano sparks in the opening "Tornado Tango", an improvisation accompanied by two legendary musicians bass player Mark Egan and drummer Paul Wertico.
In other composition like "We Arrived" we can appreciate the different styles and his strong work as arranger which create an endless string of feelings, counting with the magnificent Peter Erskine and the wonderful sax player Patxi Pascual.
We can also delight in the mixture of styles and colors, with two excelent singers Machan Taylor and Lucy Lummis, who interpret two marvelous tracks on this CD.
